Chili Con Carne
Yield: 6 Servings
2 T salad oil 1/2
c onions,minced 1/4
c celery,diced 1/2
c green bell pepper,chopped 3/4
lb ground beef,lean
1 T flour,all-purpose
1 cn red beans w/chili gravy(16oz
1 c water 1/2
t salt 1/4
t hot pepper sauce
1 t steak sauce
1 crackers
1 rice,cooked 1. Heat oil in large skillet; saute onion, celery
and bell pepper until golden. 2. Stir in beef; saute until red color disapppears. 3. Stir in flour; add kidney beans, water, salt,
pepper sauce and steak sauce. 4. Simmer, stirring often, until desired thickness. |
