Deluxe Chili

1 T oil
2 lb meat,Ground
4 cloves
garlic,peeled and
-finely ch,opped
15 oz can tomato sauce
1 qt chicken broth
5 T oil
4 T flour
4 T chili powder 1/2
t cumin,Ground 1/2
t salt Brown the meat and garlic slowly in one tablespoon
of oil. Then add tomato sauce, chicken broth, and salt and simmer for
an hour. Heat the five tablespoons of oil, in a frying pan, over
low heat and then add the chili powder, cumin, and flour and fry these
for five minutes with plenty of stirring making a roux.
