San Antonio Chili

3 lb meat (chili,Coarsely Ground
-meat)
6 T chili powder
1 T oregano
1 T cumin
1 T salt 1/2
t cayenne pepper
2 large
cloves garlic,minced
1 t tabasco 1 1/2
qt water 1/4
c white corn meal In Dutch oven, brown ground meat; drain. Add
seasoning and water; heat to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1
hour and 30 minutes. Skim off fat. Stir in corn meal and simmer
