Spicy Texas Chili

 

      Yield: 1 Servings

 

      1 lb boneless beef top round

      1    steak -- cut in 1/2 cubes

      1 md onion --,Chopped

      1    jalapeno chili pepper --

      1    seeded,finely chopp

      3    garlic cloves --,Minced

      3    14 5 oz cans  whole tomatoes

      1    undrained,cut up

      4 t  chili powder

    1/4 t  red pepper --,Ground

      1    (cayenne)

 

Spray nonstick Dutch oven or large skillet with cooking spray.  Heat

over medium-high heat until hot.  Add beef, onion, chile pepper and

garlic; cook until beef is no longer pink.  Stir in remaining

ingredients. Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15-20

minutes or until slightly thickened and flavors are blended, stirring

occasionally. Season with salt, if desired
